England has been very good to date.
Seam bowlers were methodical and disposed of Pakistan professionally.
Bit of movement foe the Pakistanis BUT whilst Shoaib was a bit unlucky Sami bowled crap.
He regularly gets to 90 mph and bowls outswing, which should guarantee him plenty of wickets. Unfortunately,he only bowled a couple of line and length deliveries, one of which trapped Strauss. He then proceeded to bowl Bell 4 consecutive half-volleys.
Tresco looks excellent but Bell is a bit tentative, as you'd expect.
BTW, dont know why people cant stand Waqar's commentary. He's been fair and accurate.

Good first session from England, as well as was expected with the ball and looking decent with the bat, wouldn't have wanted to lose any more wickets but 72-1 is a pretty good position

Pakistan have been pretty profligate with the extras and its been noticable how different the outlook from the English batsmen has been compared to the Pakistani's in relation to looking for a single at every opportunity - particularly Trescothick, his first reaction it to take a couple of steps forward looking for the run.

Pak batsmen's performance on a batting pitch was pathetic.
I don't see much of a contest between these two team.England is going to trash Pak 3-0 easily in test matches and i won't be surprised if test matches ended in less than 4 days.
I think Pak batsmen will fare more pooly in second innings!
