Great fightback from Durham, still could easily go either way though. Durham's lower order are nothing flash. Would be a miracle if Barker went wicketless in the match considering how well he usually does against Durham.
Thought that Weighell (22) (3f/c games) did as well as Woakes with his 5/33

Hain should be very droppable.

Laurie Evans should take his place. Will Porterfield still in the squad as is Freddie Coleman. At this point i am so pissed off with our batting I would ring wholesale changes.

Great comeback win for Durham. Usual southern bias shite from the media saying how we'd struggle to avoid relegation etc.

Our 2nd/3rd bowling attack is better than Slurry, and we didn't get them all from South Africa either. You can't buy team spirit, talent and hard work.

You are joking aren't you? Carse, Richardson, Jennings and McCarthy not exactly home-grown. Benkenstein was your captain for ages, Stokes not exactly a north-eastern boy is he?

You know he never lets facts get in the way of things when he off on one.

Massively questioning Ian Bell's captaincy. Bowling Oliver Hannon-Dalby ahead of Patel on 4th day is baffling.

Absolutely brilliant from Kent to win after Derbyshire scored nearly 500 in the first innings,Take a bow Sean Dickson for carrying his bat to get us to 400 then good old Tredwell and Haggett taking 4fa each and bowl them out for under 100 set the win up, had to be Bell-Drummond to anchor us home.

Plus some of Surrey's Saffers by birth have been with us since they were in shorts anyway. Certainly the Currans, and probably Dernbach and Meacher too. Doesn't make us a great side, and we're probably going down, but sometimes it's worth educating the chips-on-both-shoulders brigade.

Pretty huge win for Hampshire. Tino Best probably get all the headlines but seriously encouraging again from Mason Crane, if we are going to stay up he will be a huge reason why.

I was referring to the bulk of Slurry's attack. Which is basically Batty and a load of Saffies. Carse is the typical sort of South African picked up, but remember Durham don't have a 'designated' overseas player and haven't had one a lot of the time.

Durham's first choice seam attack would be Onions, Wood, Rushworth and Stokes. Jennings' mother is from Sunderland. Richardson has been in and out of England for a decade.

Durham regularly have 8-9 home grown players in their side. There really is no comparison.

Should be at Headingley on Sunday, weather permitting, hopefully another stellar bowling performance from us. Forecast for Monday & Tuesday not great though.

Really surprised Buttler is back so soon (as I was when Moeen and Stokes started playing so soon after the winter). They all want to do their bit for their county but they're on central contracts and you really don't want them burning out. You only have to look at the likes of Trott and KP in recent years who the workload may have caught up with them causing them to breakdown.
