Woakes joins the England camp tonight so presumably they thought he could slog a few before being replaced tomorrow by some bowler who doesn't bat. Read somewhere that Poysden was the replacement which doesn't seem entirely fair. Bringing in a spinner for the last couple of days for a seamer. Thought it was meant to be like for like replacements.

Way the scores are going gotta assume the wicket is going up and down. They'd of been better of bringing in a seamer for Woakes as it goes - although the fact they picked Poysden (as the replacement pre-match) probably suggests the wicket started quite worn, tired and dry.

Great fightback from Durham, still could easily go either way though. Durham's lower order are nothing flash. Would be a miracle if Barker went wicketless in the match considering how well he usually does against Durham.
