However they'll have to watch out for the deadly quick chuc.... erm bowling (:D) from Shoaib.
Good as he thinks he is, even Shoaib would admit that he'd struggle to get them out when he's playing in another continent ;)

Top order collapse from Bangladesh again :( Bashar out for 3, Ashraful for 3, Sarkar for 3 - Kapali retired hurt at 17...At 23/3 I bashed my head in the screen, it was just so annoying to see another good first-innings effort come to nothing.

Saleh is still on 29* though, but I think Shabbir and Umar Gul could well rip through the tail on Friday to leave Bangladesh about 230 runs ahead.

Surely they can't blow this one. I expect they'll need to score at least 150 runs to win this Test.
Really...the way the Bangladeshis have been batting in this second innings is awful, apart from maybe Omar and Saleh. On the other hand, the Pakistani top order doesn't look very strong either, so it's fairly close...

Bangladesh at 77/4, a lead of 183. PLEASE can they win this test. PLEASE can they go on with it. The last two the should have one, but if they don't win this it will be outrageous. So c'mon Bangaldesh, pull your heads together and bat for your lives!

Kapali is out to a controversial decision. The ball dropped out of Latif's gloves when he fell on the ground but he was covering the ball and so the Ump and the batsman were not able to see it.

Bangladesh should win if.......

they hold their nerve,
they post a lead of 250 - 300,
the pitch wears,
their bowlers exploit it,
the fielders back them up like they did yesterday,
the Pakistani batsmen self destruct again!

:)

this is their best Test series todate & follows on from the good work put in V Australia. It's amazing the improvement the Whatmore has been able to show in such a short time.

:)

Khaled Mahmud to Inzamam-ul-Haq, no run, driven to mid on and want
a quick single, slight missunderstanding between he batsmen,
Younis first stop and than run for the single, Ashraful slight
missfielded but recover it well, throw towards the batting end and
hit the stumps directly

Pakistan 81/4, Partnership of 3
Younis Khan run out (Mohammad Ashraful) 0 (0b 0x4
Shocking!:wow:

Wow...Pakistan 102/5 needing another 159 runs to win.

Bangladesh are in line for a test victory here..although there is one man in their way....... INZAMAM!

The pitch is just like what it was on the 1st day. There is a lot of help for seamers. BTW, wasn't Jacobs suspended for a couple of matches for cheating some time back. I expect something similar to happen to Latif.

Don't underestimate the might of Saqqy!

Saqlain was lucky. He was plumb LBW off Rafiq but was not given by Ashoka. BTW, i heard Athar Ali Khan ( Former Bangla player turned Commentator) saying that umpiring is very ordinary in this match. Ashoka is living up to his reputation :cool2:

Nah, I think Saqqy (who has a test hundred) and Inzamam will bat sensibly and deny Bangladesh there first test victory in the morning...

I don't think that Saqlain will stay there for a century stand, and the fact that 9-11 are rabbits tips the balance towards the Bangladeshis.

It's all down to the big man - if he's there at the end, Pakistan will quite probably win.

However, IMO, Rafique and Mahmud (!!) will bowl out the tail and make history.

Come on you Tigers!
