Chances of NSW getting the outright this afternoon? I doubt it,

same, though Katich has taken wickets before ;) and Clarke has an impressive test bowling average

QLD would have to play pretty poorly to lose outright.

Good on Clarke, seeing as he had very limited opportunity to perform for NSW, hes done the best he could. What an awesome comeback.

odds are pretty good now of Clarke topping the pura cup batting averages considering he wont play that many more games.
Will he even get an average though?!

Yeah, he got out in the match before
Would average, what, 395 or something now?

Anyways, nothing like a good Saussie thrashing of the mexicans to light up a child's day. :p

Clarke for Symonds.. easy as that
No it's not. Clarke scored a big hundred before the Windies series (or during) with Katich also plundering runs.....and Hayden was doing the same thing during the Ashes tour!

CONSISTENCY is what the selectors will be looking for form Clarke. IF bundles a couple of hundreds together and doesn't get out too often wafting his bat outside off......they'll pick him again.

nah i think hes got out twice now, so 230 odd, not to shabby - he is highly unlikley to play more than 1 more game for NSW though, i think that 1 is only if the ODI tri-series goes to a 3rd final.

Im not too upset with our loss, because we wont have to see Brad Williams ever again!! :D Chucked on the sooks when he was dropped from the 4 day squad (rightly so) and so refused to play in the ODD against Tassie on Friday. Good riddance!

He's been suspended for the rest of the season hasn't he?
