Yeah Chris Simmons should be in the sqaud in front of Mail, his been in awsome form for Gordon and can open. I think Cowan, Krjeza, Cooper and Packman are the other options (middle order) but Cowan and Krjeza are injured and Cooper and Packman haven't been in good form. Also we have Murry Creed but his also been out of form.

He hasn't started playing Grade Cricket yet, i think he is still injuried. He was meant to play for one of the Unis, i think UNSW. The side for the Vic match is:

He has only played one first grade game and made 92. Im not sure if his been injured or stuck in 2nd grade due to UNSW strong import based batting line up.

I think that was before he retired from Test Cricket, he was meant to be here from the start of the season.

Yeah emergency i.e when we have 5 guys (Clarke, Katich, Clark, Bracken and Lee) out on international duty and another player in Glen McGarth. Add to that Cowan and Krejza out through injury. If 8 guys out isn't an emergency case i don't know what is. But in saying all that Chris Simmons still can't get into the side, so i guess we have enough depth to cope.
