Nel should be out i cant believe Bucknor missed that one he should retire:dry:
By the same token weren't there more than a couple of SA batsmen given out who shouldn't have been?

And wasn't Lee lucky to last so long?

Or do those not count as they're in favour of the Aussie side?

Bucknot has been making poor decisions for a good while now againts all teams & i've been calling for him to retire since the since the ashes, since he has made some shockers. So dont go throwing this `because its australia` nonsense at me..

Wow. Lee on fire this morning. Could have had Boucher 3 times, then got him and Ntini in quick succession. The yorker to dismiss Ntini was brutal.

So, 292 to win. It's not an easy target, but I'd back Australia marginally, with Nel apparently not feeling very good and Boje and Kallis likely to bowl a lot. Could go either way though, a lot depends on Pollock and Ntini.

Incidentally, Lee finishes with 17 wickets @ 19.52 for the series, and Clark with 20 @ 15.84. The real surprise for Lee this series is that his economy rate is so good, at 2.86. That's lower than Kasprowicz and Warne, and only marginally above Clark and Symonds.

A very good series for the Australian seam attack minus McGrath, certainly makes things look better for his inevitable retirement.

I don't know if it was a fair indication, there's no doubt they bowled well but the tracks were pretty friendly, I daresay Watson would've moved the ball around a fair bit, and that's a fair indication the tracks were lively. Don't get me wrong, I prefer a lively track for the bowlers, but once Clark hits the flat tracks I think we'll see a much less effective bowler, although he'll probably prove me wrong.

it certainy does, especially knowing that Gillespie is around in the nest 2-3 years his experience would be very handy.

The first pitch was very friendly, the third moderately so. The pitch at Durban was pretty similar to the SCG in Australia this season though. Marginal movement with the new ball, and some turn with the older ball, and a bit of uneven bounce.

I'd agree the pitches were better for seamers than a normal series, but outside of the first test it wasn't anything seriously unusual, just a bit of assistance mostly for the new ball. Still, you're right about Clark. I think he's shown that he can be handy on flat pitches with his accuracy and bounce, but we're yet to see if he'll be consistently good.

geez does this mean Langer wont bat in this innings?, well if so the top 6 need to bat extra well.

Massive call here, but my man Nicky Boje to be the match-winner for SA.

If I win the Greig award so be it, but watch out for Nicky. He foxed the master Hussey in the first innings, he can do it again :p

They just said on the radio that Langer is coming to the ground at midday and may be able to bat if Australia needs him.

Australia wishing the shine to leave the new-ball, not looking twice at the wider ones. Lee was incredible this morning, as others have said, should have had Boucher three or four times. With those early strikes, Langer`s injury and Symonds and Gilchrist`s bad form, you`d have to tip the Saffies.
