I know! :D
Bowling average of 15.05, SR of 34.2 and ER of 2.64, and a batting average of 21 to boot. He really proved me (and pretty much everyone else) wrong on this tour, hopefully he can keep it up.

Clark is an Effing legend. Rudolph out.
He's played excellent cricket of late,
but it's too soon to say that he's great.

maybe crashing and burning
will follow - so calm it down, mate.

LOL, I don't mean it for the extended sense (which it actually implies) but for now, yeah. I was one of his detractors, so I'm happily surprised.

looked to be sliding down leg and possibly too high
Tbh I think it's a classic case of hawk-eye being wrong.

Looked plumb live, and plumb on the replay too, just Hawkeye said it was sliding down.

Tell you what, this partnership is absolute gold for South Africa.

I reckon another 40-50 runs and this becomes very tricky for Australia. Especially if Langer isn't fit, is there any confirmed news about his fitness?

Let's just start with "it'd be great to see Langer actually bat in his hundredth" - the blow he took sounded very nasty indeed. Still, at least Australia have a ready-made opener in Mike Hussey there already.

Fantastic knock by Mark Boucher, his played well against Australia this winter and been the best player of Shane Warne in the South African team by far.

Still do not think the South African’s have enough because other than Ntini, who is going to get the wickets? Andre Nel looks off colour, Pollock does not look particularly threatening at the moment and Boje well the only way he is going to get wickets is caught at long off.

interesting day yesterday, Nel should be out i cant believe Bucknor missed that one he should retire:dry: This is going to be a close finish lets say Australia need to get 300 if the top order get through the new ball i'd back Australia to get a total around 300, hopefully Langer can bat since his role will be vital.

Symonds under enormous pressure tonight. He's magnificent in ODI's. However, for the sake of Australia's Ashes prospects, I hope he makes way for Clarke for the Tests against Bangladesh.

yep Symo has to go, like in the 1st innings imagine England probably going through Australia top order & him coming out i cant see him doing anything big especially with Gilly not a consistently destructive these days.

Clark should be back instead of Watson since i feel with McGrath/Lee/Clark/Warne Australia have a good 4-man attack to take it to England's batsmen.

Be a massive void in my life after tonight - last (competitive) night of cricket for months! I'll be rocking back 'n' forth crying myself to sleep, until Australia return to the field of battle for the Champions Trophy in October. Im sure they're looking forward to the break, though. Gilly, for one, looks like he needs it.

I hope saffies play well today, and hope langer actually bats on his 100th test match...

IMO south african's played quite well last night.. Nel should some patience to stay till the close play and Boucher again frustrates the aussies, he has done that time and time again.. Well played..
