I doubt the umpires would call it if it was, I could be wrong however.
From the TV picture you could see the sunshine on the field and the commentators called it a disgrace. They went on at great length about how light it still was, how brightly the sun was shining, and one even said "If this is bad light, they'll have to stop playing cricket in England."
On the other hand, what I said yesterday, I said in the heat of the moment. (Then went and had a drink, not a beer, LE, as you suggested:) as it makes a person fat, but took your advice).
Let's hope today we see good cricket and fair umpiring for all.

It's like he's being retained because, with the hair and stuff, he's a cult-figure or something.
He'll be an absolute money-spinner.

During the Ashes, people will have a choice of two silly masks to choose from to wear - a Fred one and a Clown one - then in the name of friendship, camaraderie, sportsmanship, togetherness, a good night out and 'You are my best mate, you are (hic)' they can dedicate the whole Ashes couple of months to drinking Australia dry.

enjoying Gibbs' knock here
Me too. He's probably the best batsman to watch worldwide from a neutral point of view I reckon. He plays his shots, and its nice on the eyes, but at the same time he gives so many chances and he could be out any time, as seen in that last Clark over.

Warne on now. Ponting actually bowled a couple of decent balls, he was a few k's faster than Symonds aswell.

Saw the Lee 'not out' decision in the lunch break, seemed a pretty straightforward catch to me, strange decision not to give that out.

In other news, Robin Smith sucks as an analyser

Fair enough then, as I said I didn't see much of the game at all so I'm willing to stand corrected. I actually read the rest of your posts on it after I had posted my reply and then felt bad about doing so! haha

If you're going on Australian conditions when the match was called then it was actually dark...at 2am in the morning or whatever it is over here:happy:
