enjoying Gibbs' knock here
From the TV picture you could see the sunshine on the field and the commentators called it a disgrace. They went on at great length about how light it still was, how brightly the sun was shining, and one even said "If this is bad light, they'll have to stop playing cricket in England."Son Of Coco said:I doubt the umpires would call it if it was, I could be wrong however.

Me too. He's probably the best batsman to watch worldwide from a neutral point of view I reckon. He plays his shots, and its nice on the eyes, but at the same time he gives so many chances and he could be out any time, as seen in that last Clark over.superkingdave said:enjoying Gibbs' knock here

On the other hand, what I said yesterday, I said in the heat of the moment. (Then went and had a drink, not a beer, LE, as you suggested as it makes a person fat, but took your advice).
Let's hope today we see good cricket and fair umpiring for all.

Fair enough then, as I said I didn't see much of the game at all so I'm willing to stand corrected. I actually read the rest of your posts on it after I had posted my reply and then felt bad about doing so! hahajot1 said:From the TV picture you could see the sunshine on the field and the commentators called it a disgrace.
