Ponting drops a tough chance.
66.3 Clark to Rudolph, FOUR, short of length, bit more bounce, Rudolph cuts, flies of the outside edge towards second slip, Ponting drops a tough one, goes over him to thirdman fence.

too early too say anything.. they still have plenty of batting..
Yeah I jumped the gun a bit considering Boucher, Pollock and Boje could be classed as batsmen in their own right.

You're pushing it to say Pollock's a proper batsman, let alone Boje, but they can all put on runs.

Probably not Boje but I think that Pollock could be. 2 test centuries, fourteen half centuries is pretty good.

Nothing wrong with the way Pollock handles a bat, considering he is a opening bowlers his test stats is pretty amazing :)

True, he does average over 30. Still, he's not hit a century since 2001.

Its a shame really that Pollock bats so low down the order. On numerous times he has been left on 60* - 70*. He has even been left on 99*.

Didn't he get a century in that match against India that was declared void of test staus due to something to do with picking the seam? Maybe that didn't happen and I'm just an idiot.

LOL, bucknor tells gilly he didn;t think kallis hit it. Commentators heard the major snick in the microphone. lol
And since the umpires don't have that feed there's nothing Bucknor could do about that.

Gilchrist has taken 3 sensational catches already this series.

Obviously, he's seeing it well so runs shouldnt be too far off.
