fantastic innings by both Gillespie and Marto.
yeah, they both batted exceptionally well. It looks like things might still get a little interesting, especially if another 100 or so runs are added........it's important from here on in that we ensure India can't win as a draw on this occasion would be getting out of jail - it'd have to leave them feeling a bit deflated too!

Leading by 191.

Would a lead of 250 be practically for the Indian's to chase? If Australia got anywhere near that, the Indian's would probobly go for the draw.

Is there any chance, I meand any chance at all, that you may be on the wrong side of this issue. I mean, like any small chance...? :)
Well nobody has yet told me how you can justify blaming the umpires for a poor decision when the player walks before he's made a decision.

Technology is still not as good as people like to think, and lets face it, had a couple of those decisions gone against Australia, you wouldn't be making a fuss about the whole issue.

Gillespie looking really strong and unbreakable, that is what is required in this situation, well done.
He should be doing it all the time and be converted to an all rounder... ;)

First step he would have to take would be to get past 50. He has been so close on numerous occasions.

India's worked so hard and have been the better team for 3 out of 4 days of this test match
I wouldn't necessarily say that - Australia controlled the first half of the first day, and if they'd held the chances just after Sehwag went, then the 1st innings scores would've been very close.

only 2 wickets to go...any run is a bonus now for Australia...I am fairly confident of an Aussie win here

206 on, 17 overs left tonight.

How good it is to see that in spite of bowling so much spin, they're way behind the over rate 8-)

Ideal situation, 50 in 8 overs and declare?
