Ideal situation, 50 in 8 overs and declare?
Ideal situation: 50 more runs.

I don't think the Aussies will complain about 50 more runs, regardless of the time it takes.

Oooh dear, I don't know about that decision from Rudi Koertzen for Kasper.. Looked to be doing too much and missing leg in my opinion, but oh well, he's the umpire.

I think Clarke needs to open up a bit here and get a few quick runs..McGrath is bound to go quickly, but another 15 or so runs would be very useful

I think this lead is quite substantial on this pitch, and unless Some one in the Indian Team sticks out for a long stint, Australia are home and dry IMO.

I reckon Australia has already done enough to win this Test.

Warne likely to be quite a significant threat to India on the fifth day, and I cannot see India doing it, from here on !

I agree. He's got to get the strike back first though.

The Aussies have done a good job getting back into the match. I'm not entirely sure we've got enough though - 225 is right on the lower bracket of what I thought we MUST get. I'd love to see 25 more or so.

It'll be interesting tomorrow, and there'll be a lot for Warne to do. But regardless of the record for chasing at this ground, I'm a little worried that the last two innings have netted around 370+ each...

yeah..but India will have the pressure of having a time limit on them to get these runs..I think having to score at 2.5 an over chasing on the last day will be hard to do...the longer these two bat the better

Well played again Clarkey.. It's unfortunate he lost everyone around him, because he never really looked troubled.

and McGrath is out.

Bit annoyed that the strike wasnt thought about a bit more...but no worries..229 to win for India..I am sure one or two quick wickets and this one will be over and will be an Aussie win

On the plus side, at least the Aussies will have a short crack at the Indians tonight; hopefully they'll pull out a wicket or two.

yeah that is very good for Australia..I would imagine the Indians are quite hacked off that they are now probably the underdogs in this game....that will be in Australias favour for these couple of overs. A wicket here would be brilliant, but even if no wickets fall, but Australia bowl well (do you think it could be McGrath and Warne to open???) just for these few balls, India will have to think about how they will cope tomorrow..and again that means more pressure..and I really dont think this Indian team can take pressure to well

That was bloody fantastic. Marto's greatest innings, SEWPERB. I'll be on a high for days.

I don't. There's no reason for it; no reason to introduce Warne just yet. Just stick to what they know works for now.
