***Official*** Australia in England (The Ashes)

Tom Halsey

International Coach
They're coming home, they're coming home, they're coming, the Ashes are coming home. :D

Would have been nice if Gilo had got a hundred - fitting I guess that Warne got a five-fer in his last bowl in a Test match in England.

Shane Warne & Glenn McGrath, I hope England appreciates these two greats of cricket. :)
I feel privaliged just to have been able to watch these two play in their final Ashes series. Same with being able to hear Richie in his last English series. I'd be shocked if anyone felt otherwise.

Haha, this runchase, it will just be an entertaining bit of batting I think, to cap off the series. Better not bowl negatively though :p

Has Warne said something about this being his final Ashes series? It is definitely his last in England but (unless he has stated otherwise) I back him to play the next Ashes series in Australia.

I dont know if he would be happy retiring with England holding the urn.

:( its nearly over
Yeah, that's my feeling as well. I'm actually far more sad that the cricket is over than that Australia lost the series. It makes for an exciting time in world cricket now. Every series will be a test for Australia to maintain their number 1 ranking, England are pushing hard now and the next Ashes series is going to be absolutely huge.

And with that, I'm off to bed. End of some of the best cricket any of us will ever see, I think.

Tame end to a fantastic series. I hope Freddy and Warnie are joint Players of the series with KP as MoM.
