i dont know what to say has frustrated has i was listening to the radio in school, England have won the ashes :-O i wont complain anymore they deserve it no doubt. KP is a special player though Australia must be disappointed since they dropped him 3 times so they should take some blame for that, but i say again i take nothing away form England they deserve it.

I hope not too many Australians are axed, though i expect younger players who perform well on the Aus A tour & the pura cup to come close to selection & this in NOT the end of Australia at all i dont think any other side in world cricket has the the ammuntion necessary to do to Australia what England have done to them this summer, so australia are safe in that respect no doubt. The 2006/07 cant come sooner.....

I dont know about the history but as a neutral fan I am truly dissapointed. I was hoping for a good final day.
As a non-neutral i can assure you that this final day had far TOO much excitement.

Congratulations, Gilo. If it wasn't for that knock who knows where we'd be. ALL HAIL THE KING OF SPAIN!

And come on Harmy, 20 off 7 balls and then out please. :}

At least the Ashes has become what it should be - the two best teams in the world battling it out like their fellow countrymen have been doing for a hundred years. It eventually had to happen (Australia losing the Ashes), and will it mean the end of an era? I think so - it was already coming to an end really. But this team has accomplished unbelievable feats - they'll be remembered, I have no doubt, as absolute cricketing legends.

I guess what it so bad about this loss is - who will step up when certain elements of this team are no longer around? I'd like to see some moves made by Cricket Australia to really ensure that we don't plummet down the rankings (ie; seeing some new faces in the lineup who will feature for years to come)

Shane Warne & Glenn McGrath, I hope England appreciates these two greats of cricket. :)
