Abit after the fact and negative......but poor captaincy and bowling by the Aussies.
Lee bowling 5 out of 6 deliveries short to Giles, sure he nearly got a catch, but a wicket would be more likely if he bowled straight at the stumps.
Australia just left the game drift for the time when 40 to 50 overs were left. Why no inventive field placings?....trying to get Pietersen playing more shots.
I was really looking foward to a hectic run chase

I'm sure the most parochial of English fans would like to just keep batting though, and Vaughan isn't the most aggressive captain you'll see and the win probably doesn't matter that much to him, he just wants to save the match and win the series.

Were there to be another match to follow, you might send the Aussies in in order to grab a few wickets to get some momentum/steal some morale for the next one, but given this is it, he's probably just enjoying sitting back watching Australia toil away fruitlessly and struggling just to clean up the tail.
