Really quite odd stuff. More replays of Bell's dismissals during the break, and he definately hit it. There's just no doubt at all on the replays, you can see the ball hit the bat and move it and deviate, and yet snicko said there was no noise at all.

Major mark against the use of technology there.

Exactly, yet everyone is saying Snicko is the way to go. He quite clearly hit it yet there was no noise at all.

It really isn't.

Firstly, it was technology that enabled you to assert that Bell was out. Beyond that, snicko's generally a great aid for these kind of decisions, and this is the first time I've seen such a strange result. The technology doesn't have to be infallible to be a more than useful aid for decision-making. If anything, today has probably been a better argument for technology than against it.

Ooooo, boy. That was a nasty ball which hit the seam there. Jones very unlucky there and couldn't do much about it. Four for Lee now.
