It's just like Bangladesh all over again really... number 8 coming out to bat within 30 overs, no defensive technique, lots of rash shots...

It's looking like a slightly better repeat of Edgbaston '97 so far, and since Warne made 47 in that game, Australia should manage 200. :D

Australia need to be a bit less brash, arrogant and ****y when they bat.. Oh for a quiet accumulator, I think Katich and Warne might be the best couple here, Gilly was always going to nick one batting like that.. I don't think England will be so blase when they bat

Australia looking as if a 200ish score is on the way barring any incredibly talented batting from Warney...should be defendable - bet they'll regret picking Brett Lee now.

EDIT - I take that back lol Warney you master batsman you :D :D :D

Never thought I'd see the day an Aussie is smiling about their lads hopefully reaching 200!

Hehe. The ':D' was more about the fact that I don't actually expect Warne to manage 47, though it would be nice if he did.

With Gilchrist gone, possible targets are going to have to be dramatically re-evaluated - although I think 150 is a little over-conservative. I think we could limp to 250 or so.

Great day for England so far. It would have to be fairly heartbreaking to lose from here.

Don't think you will be for a while either, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it happened this innings atm.
