I'll say it again. Gillespie is in top form........... Hes our best hope along with katich, although warnies form is pretty good as well. Gillespie should come in next if a wicket falls.

The no-ball was very close, with things like that what usually happens is the bowlers keep edging further and further until one gets called and then the bowler adjusts. I'm sure Flintoff will have been marginally past or on the line before that delivery and if he'd have been called then in the first place he'd have adjusted and the delivery he got Langer with would have been a legitimate delivery. Anyway they should go back to letting the 3rd umpire call no-balls.
You are in a good mood! I like this SP much better. :)

If pretty boy Brett bats before Gillespie then he'll know how Kasprowicz feels about being unfairly overtaken by that queue-jumping blonde haired girl.

This is hilarious, never thought that I'd see Warney looking more dangerous than Ponting or Hayden.
Have you seen his county stats? :p He's got the best strike rate in the competition outside a player who's only had three or so innings, if I remember correctly - 450 or so runs at more than a run a ball. Maybe it was all just a change of strategy for him coming into the Ashes?

Alright, everyone. What do you think - Warne to high score for the aussies this innings?
I'd love to see it, but I can't see Warney sticking around for longer than Katich, so I'd have to stick with Simon on this one.

I hope I don't put the mozz on him, but Katich is playing great cricket here - nothing stupid, and you couldn't say he doesn't make the most of his opportunities.

He seems to have balls of steel - I hope that Clarke's don't turn out to be soft and fluffy this series.

Did you see the interview where Clarke said something along the lines of 'when all of the boys go out playing golf I like to go shopping with Watto'. That made me realise that while he might be quite a good batsman, he may have a touch of oestrogen in him ;)
