Warne's walking a long way across the stumps...
i think i see what he's doing, because i think Warne realises if he just stands their he'll get another delivery like the one that Strauss almost took. So moving about the crease can get Harmison to change up his line & lenght (especially).

I was starting to lose faith, thinking 150ao was on the cards, but these Australians always have a surprise up their sleeve. Don't know who would've picked Katich as the man to save the innings. Great escape artists, this partnership has turned a huge mountain hike into a very tricky uphill walk.

Did you see the interview where Clarke said something along the lines of 'when all of the boys go out playing golf I like to go shopping with Watto'. That made me realise that while he might be quite a good batsman, he may have a touch of oestrogen in him ;)
Clarke is a homo, simple as that

150 all out was never on the cards. England should be looking at 400 when they bat with the weather improving.

Er... maybe. It takes a bigger leap of faith than I can manage to agree with that particular forecast. But this is shaping up to be a classic.

51 runs from non-boundaries
104 runs from boundaries
Looks like they're really lacking in that whole running between the wickets thing.

With the exception of Ponting, let's see if Aus can give all their wickets away. 8-)

BTW, look no further than Warne's batting for evidence of how low the standard is in county cricket.

Wicket looks goods and sun is out. England should build massive lead.

What they are lacking is a "five-day-mode" to operate in. Only Katich is playing to stay at the wicket.

Proved to be his downfall.

Decent knock though all things considered.
It's bound to happen when you give the opposition such a clear look at the stumps. He really needed to hang around a bit longer though.

Aaargh, now Katich is gone...

I always thought Hoggard getting ninety-odd was the most damning indictment on county cricket bowling attacks.

Edit: eighty-odd
