Yes, it's more of a hope than an expectation. I'm fairly confident though that at least one of them will make a decent score, if not a century then at least something enough to reach a defendable target, i.e. 200+.

There are more chances of Australia being bowled out early than a Gilchist bravado saving a first inning low score. But a test match has 2 innings a side and Australia can bounce back despite a low first inning score.

he didn't look to bad for me, i would be more confident in his return to form than i would on that LBW call.... and Langer caught off a no ball... the Australian team arn't the only ones who could use a little more form....
