Are you implying they are not 3-0 down morally? The lack of killer instinct stems from the unspoken truth that the formal series scoreline flatters them.
Lol, even after all the schedule manufacturing Aus are 1-1 going to the two places they have not won against India since Sachin was an active cricketer.

A bunch of debutants smacked Aus at the MCG last time and in the SCG the Aussie attack couldn't take the wickets of a guy with a broken back and one with a broken leg lol.

Happy retirement to India's 4th best spinner of all time.

I am puzzled by the timing as well. While Ashwin is about as effective as Rohit and Kohli as a bowler is AUS, I'd still back him to score more runs than either of them.
Still sore after the fact that Ashwin bowled India to victory in Adelaide 2018 which set the stage for the ass-kicking that followed that series.

Also made Steve Smith look like a tailender in MCG 2020.

Also who can forget him saving a match against the Australian "attack" in SCG 2021 with a sore back.

Should stick around to collect his 3rd away BGT (6th overall. Smith has won only one. Cummins zero).

can you stick to the script? It’s messages like these that cause all the issues. India is going to get pummelled. They’ve been pathetic other than one guy.

Lowest bowling average among all bowlers in test history in a calendar year with at least 50 wickets:

Imran Khan ‘82 - 62 wickets @ 13.29, 38 SR
Sydney Barnes ‘12 - 61 wickets @ 14.14, 36 SR
Jasprit Bumrah ‘24 - 62 wickets @ 14.58, 29.3 SR
Waqar Younis ‘93 - 56 wickets @ 15.15, 29.5 SR

How unplayable he looks is lining up with his consistent numbers across 12 tests this year. Right among one of the best bowling peaks of all time. Hope he has a few more years in the tank at this beyond ATG level.

0 10’fers tho.
thats absolutely irrelevant, especially in a facet where you are working as a team.

He couldve easily had a 7-fer or 8-fer in the 1st inns when Aus were 8 wickets down and he had already taken a 6-fer.

He then chose not to bowl at the tailenders. He had only bowled 3 overs that morning. He forgo the chance to take cheap wickets of Lyon and Hazlewood and let his struggling teammates Akash & Siraj have something for their efforts.
