**Official** 3rd Test @Brisbane (Ewwwww), 14th-18th December

Whatever it takes!!!
@Spark - Reading Rohit's comments which was just now updated on crapinfo, looks like you were right. They were not considering him ahead of NKR and I guess that made it easier for him to make the announcement now and spend time with his family.

Obviously a very unhappy camp, India. Ashwin doing a Swann and bowing out mid series is such a bad look and shows the disarray they’re in

So now that game is over, a reminder that Mitch Marsh is officially the worst top 6 bat to play minimum 35 Tests for Australia (post WW1)

Mitch Marsh - 45 tests, 2079 @ 29.28
Graeme Wood - 59 tests, 3374 @ 31.83
Geoff Marsh - 50 tests, 2854 @ 33.18
Greg Blewett - 46 tests, 2552 @ 34.02
Sean Marsh - 38 tests, 2265 @ 34.31
lol three of the worst five from the same batch of dna

Happy retirement to India's 4th best spinner of all time.

I am puzzled by the timing as well. While Ashwin is about as effective as Rohit and Kohli as a bowler is AUS, I'd still back him to score more runs than either of them.

He was dropped for Perth test and apparently had to be talked into playing 2nd test, then dropped again. I don't think it's selfish at all if you keep getting dropped when you have over 500 wkts
More poor squad selection then from India, bringing these old guys like him and Sharma over, if they have one foot out the door.

Yeah the media environment over the next year could get v v ugly if they hang on for dear life without performing
Maybe im missing it but I'm not seeing much pressure on them to make any changes - Although I guess Marnus might have been under some
