Yeah, I still reckon that West Indies will be looking to hit 270 though. Sarwan is in at one end with Powell and Smith still to come in. 90 in 14 overs with them 3 is nothing unless things change.

Having said this, I know nothing about the conditions and how people are bowling so basically I'm being an sterotypical internet cricket fan. :D

208/7..Hopkins in the action again. He has really impressed me with the gloves which doesn't really come as any surprise considering i've seen him keep well before.

NZ have yet to really have a significant collapse in this series...long may that continue.

208/8...Marshall with some good work & its looking good right now for NZ.

Guess that comes from discipline and the fact that you have people who can hold a cricket bat proficiently all the way down the order.

Hopelessly inept performance from the middle order. The West Indies can't afford to keep carrying 2 sloggers and must replace either Smith or Powell with Devon Smith.

Both Michael Holding and Botham seem to have bewilderingly high opinions of Dwayne Smith and Powell. Neither could believe that they were batting so far down the order and Botham even suggested that Smith was in a different class to Bravo as a batsman. These people, like the selectors, need to wake up and smell the coffee. Both are effectively playing as specialist fielders, who can occasionaly slog a quick 20 or 30. Not good enough.

The 2 run-outs were disgraceful, as was the running between the wickets generally. Either Logie, as coach, isn't doing his job properly or the players themselves are too arrogant, irresponsible or plain stupid to bother with the basics.

Carlton Baugh's innings was embarrassing. He's become Jacobs' understudy largely on the back of his batting rather than 'keeping skills, so I can only pray that Dinesh Ramdin turns out to be the real deal.
