Yuvraj at 3 and Pathan at 4 and a bowler/keeper in the XI would be the only changes I would suggest. Even better with Powar at 7/8.
The top 4 was picked so that you have hard hitters at the top, and these four like the ball coming on the bat at a good pace. Yuvraj is likely to open in Tests, so the higher he bats, the better. Ganguly at 7 may look strange, but he can play spinners well, and he should start against them. The top order has better players of pace, and the middle order, better players of spin.
PLAN: Sachin should stay till the end of the innings. Sehwag can bat as he usually does, but improve shot selection. Yuvraj and especially Pathan have to hit a lot of boundaries and sixes in the first 15 overs. Even if they do get out, Dravid is there to save the team. Laxman, Ganguly and Powar can take on the spinners. You have batting till 8, and the bowlers can take risks, since they have their bowling to fall back on. Unconventional, but worth a try.
