if you really want an indian all-rounder at the mo, id be looking at bahutule (spelling?), he seems a genuine ar to me.
Good point. He is quite a good domestic all-rounder, but he was picked very late and at the wrong time. He's an attacking bowler, but he's used defensively and he never bowls to such fields. Besides, he's a leggie, and they have Anil Kumble, and Sairaj Bahutule is not a better bowler at the top level. An off-spinning all-rounder (Ramesh Powar, the best bowling all-rounder and one who's ready for a big match) or a batsman who can bowl medium-pace (JP Yadav, a hard hitter who can also bowl slow but effective medium-pacers) can be used. There are no fast bowling all-rounders, so the only hope they have is playing a fast bowler with genuine batting ability as a batsman, at a young age. Pace doesn't make a difference- no fast bowler in India has pace. As for Dinesh Karthik, he needs more FC experience.
