Just interested in seeing what's going on, there is not enough activity around here for my liking, and I can only write so many news items.

Besides, at the time of posting I was the last poster in all 4 sub forums and in the CWXI main

Yeah, that'll be cool, finally some games! It's tough during the off season after club cricket is over. It'll be great to get back into Dev League cricket. Club Cricket is fun and all, but nothing quite like the Dev League. Looking forward to lots of wickets, some nice long innings, determined to improve my bowling and batting. Will be good to see how others fare too, and seeing the Reds kick ***.

And of interest is the colts, interesting to see how they'll fare as the new team in the comp.

Experience Points System

Only 1 experience point may be gained per season:

An allrounder has that point split, adding 0.5 onto batting and 0.5 from
bowling.
eg I have a total of 4 batting experience points and 4 bowling experience
points after 8 seasons.

A batsman has that point added to his batting skill alone.
eg Simon has 8 experience points on his batting, thus he's likely to perform
better than a rookie, as he did last season.

A bowler has the point minused from the bowling.
eg Neil has 8 experience points off his simming bowling average, which means
it's around 20, rather than the 30 it would be otherwise.

The points are given per season completed. So if you've played a full season of Dev League cricket, you get one experience point.

What if your a keeping all rounder, can you add one point to batting and fielding every 2nd season, like all rounders do?

Look at last seasons stats, you tool.

Some rookies performed equally as well, if not better than alot of seasoned pro's. However the some older guys also had sensational seasons.
