after reading it all i am still a little confused, i am ok with the seperation of costs for youth dev, physio and sign on fee's, from my running costs fund. how are ppl getting the figure that tells them they are over by so much or under by so much...
marc has sent everyone an email bugs, it will have your player values in it...

Basically bugs people are adding the total of the players in their current squad and comparing it to what they have to spend next season - ignoring the fact that at least 6 of those players will be going, and there's also the rookie factor to take into account.

this bit doesn't make sense. he's under half a million budget, i'm $80,000 over budget. does this give bugs an advantage over other managers???

Nibbs in effect if you look at bugs side on paper they aren't anywhere in the region of what you or some other big clubs have...

I will say it good that people are starting to look at it and learn before slagging off...

I believe this system will prove for the better of WCC, i just hope that you can all trust my judgement and give it a chance....

IMO this system will sort out the real managers from the boys, Some things which i can see, you will not be able to go trading players in then trading them out as much as now as you will be wasting you sign-on money... It will make people think more about how to trade rather then just doing it...

All i say guys is give it a chance...

Ok, just to give a few people a bit more of an idea...

My side was $202,000.00 over budget as is now..

After looking at the 10 players i am likely to keep at the end of this season i would be left with $1,614,000.00 to spend on 6 more players... Now working that out it leaves me with an average of $269,000.00 per player....
Now i have 1 player in my 1st team which i am letting go who is under that amount... Its not going to be overly difficult, UNLESS you drop down the divisions drastically then you may need to think more carefully...

You would not be left with that much, because you're not taking trading into account...

So the money we have to allocate for the physio & youth development guys are just for this season? We will then have full running costs for the trading period and the left over we can use for physio & youth development next season. Am I correct in assuming this?

im a little confused too. Running costs + Wages = total Costs (therefore subtracting that from the total budget would give you your amound free)? i assume?

im which case for this season i would be running a rather large deficit.

Given the quality of my 4d side, particularly the bowling attack im wondering how some of these values are so high for their wages, i mean T Darden is clearly one of the top couple of batsmen in WCC yet i have 6 players whom i am paying more than him, some of whom are no good at 4d bowling at all...

still blewy. i've spent 2 and a half years building up my side from easy beats to what they are now. should i be penalised for being a big club?

Of course, but im going off if i did no trading...

Im just using it as a example, Last season i did no trading at all and if i was to do the same this seaosn then i would have the amount said above...

The Running cost money you have for this season is to be used for Rookies, Physio and Sign-on Fees...

Want a tissue nibbs? There are plenty of other people who are in worse situations than yourself so you're not so hard done by.

I'm $390 000 over budget, see me complaining like a kiwi thats lost a herd of sheep? No, just means I've got a bit of work to do to rectify the situation.

Basically they will still be valued on the same principles, however the inexperience thing may mean they work out a bit cheaper to start with.

I will be hoping to release these as soon as possible, but am missing a couple of bits of info at the moment for each of the players.

At the end of the day, these numbers mean nothing as at least 6 of those players won't be in the squad come the trading period.
