CRICKET WEB GREEN 161 39.2 overs
AUSTRALIA 'A' 167/7 40.4 overs

Australia 'A' won by 3 wickets

Man of the match: Michael Clarke

Daily Blast Comment: Another one that came down to the toss. Batting first was never going to be easy, but still a disappointing batting effort by Green. To recover from 18/2 to 95/3 and then to collapse once more to 120/8 was poor. However, Rose and Delkap fought to some semblance of a decent total and the bowlers tried their best in defence but alas the target fell too small.

Man of the match: Ian Markus

Daily Blast Comment: The captaincy of Ian Markus continues to impress as the Reds took care of their Blue counterparts convincingly. The Blues batting fell apart to 123/8, but Bluefox led a thoughtful recovery with Adam and there was a contest on. Another captain's knock from Markus and some more timely runs for Sam Vimes paid big in a comfortable win.

CW BLACK 255/7 50.0 overs
ENGLAND 'A' 229/8 50.0 overs

CW Black won by 26 runs

Man of the match: Yasa Fayaz

Daily Blast Comment: The latest Black star appears to be Yasa Fayaz. The phenom once again showed that he's hard to keep out of a game by providing the crucial innings for CW Black with the bat and then bowling solidly and consistently in defence of it. Overall the Blacks weren't as good as they would have liked to be, especially considering that only 3 men breached double figures, albeit to each score half-centuries.

and the slump continues.we really need a win guys cuz im sure the confidence in the camp is getting low.guys weve got to put ou heads down.a toss should not affect the outcome of a match with us greens.another bad performance by me cannot be excused.i started off so well.maybe i need a lil bit of "a confidence booster"

Mister Wright

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Top win Reds. Another great team performance.

There have been some great contributions since the start of the international series, we are really starting to hit our straps. But lets not slip back into comfort mode, we need to keep the pressure on.

Really happy with my performance of late. To have to expensive overs and still take 4/46 off 10 is really pleasing.

On a side note, I'd like to say as vice captain that the team are 100% behind our captain Ian as he faces another drug scandal.

Another awesome display boys - this team is really showing class.

Also makes you wonder how close was AMZ to the ODI XI?

5 star. Absolutely awesome. This has been the most important game for a while for a team and we absolutely hammered them. Mr Wright and AMZ really laid the platform with the pair destroying the bad guys single handedly. IT was the effort of these guys and the blokes who held the catches that really won us this one. This allowed everyone else to play cameo roles with the ball. Everyone kept it very tight and very accurate allowing my job as captain to be easy. We absolutely gave it to the blues batsman guys.

The batsman had it easy... chasing 168 was never going to be hard but to see Jagaways still play a class knock was great. His form has been great at the top and he is looking very likely to come into serious consideration when the other guys all come back. Deeps and Vimes showed that their good form is here to stay as the two saw us over the line in the 33rd over... well done guys good to see.

It's been going cruisey now guys but lets keep holding our catches and doing the little things right. As soon as one little thing goes wrong like our fielding etc the rest may well come crashing down.

Yes, the Black's are back in town now! Well done to all on a very good victory against the England A side.

I was very impressed with the batting of C Buts and BK Smith. These guys are our two most valuable batsmen no doubt. Yasa Fayaz once again showed he's one of the rising stars in CW Cricket as he scored another suberb half century.

Vishnu Reddy was outstanding with the ball taking 4 crucial wickets, and most of the bowlers backed him up well.

Thrilled with the effort boys, well done, but there's still a long way to go yet.

Good stuff Blacks, great win:)

Yasa Fayaz was superb again - my personal form in ODs for Blacks is proving shaky, but i'll be back:)
