**Dev League Season 7**

I have to say Zaid, that that must be the worst all round performance in Smash25 history mate!

However, the fact you keep turning it on in the longer games means that the Reds will allow you your off day! ;)

Good to get back on the winners list boys :) solid all round performance.

Great batting from Waughney kept the innings going. and superb bowling from Delkap, Sanz and Biased Indian kept red under control.

Lets build up some momentum and have a huge finish to the season.

A performance which we seemed a little bit flat on. It was almost as if the top order got complacent! The bowlers did a pretty good job and that sorta score should normally be knocked off no dramas... Don't worry pick it up for the next big one.

Bad luck boys! Let's not lose that winning feeling. We have gone pretty well in Smash25 this season, so it is disapointing to have a loss. However we have been going great guns in the other forms so let's not let this loss dampen our spirits.

Very strange to be named Vice Captain and carry the drinks.

Top Effort boys, Well done to Chris Hinton who bowled beautifully. I echo C Buts sentiments entirely, we have the talent to take out the triple, and if we want it bad enough we'll do it.

Lets lift our game in the 5day department and we're bound to get glory.

Well done to everyone.

I have to admit Chris, its going to be hard for you to break in to this CW Blacks side as a bowler mate. Although we will see how you play in the next few games if you get an opportunity.

Daily Blast Comment: Yasa Fayaz has to be the most unlucky cricketer to have ever played Dev League cricket. Following up a game where 5 catches were dropped off him in a day, 5 more were put down on the first day of this game and an astonishing 8 in total! Overall the Blacks missed their chances and the Reds took advantage, falling just 3 wickets short of a HUGE win over the Blacks. Still, CW Black struggled to the draw because it means that their lead in the 5D tournament closes pending a Blue win.

Daily Blast Comment: Sudeep appears to be the biggest spin sensation since Neil Pickup. Initially he started out as a batting allrounder, but wonderful performances with the ball of late have made him undeniable in the Blues bowling attack. Runs and wickets in this one cap off a wonderful comeback win for CW Blue. After squandering beautiful batting conditions on the first day, Blue found themselves down by 110 runs on 1st innings. However some gutsy counterattacking led by skipper Broncoman set up a declaration and Sudeep ripped through the Australians after lunch on the last day. CW Blue snatch the 5D lead by 15 points!

Cricket Web Green won by 6 wkts.

Daily Blast Comment: One of the lowest scoring affairs of the season and yet it featured CW Green winning comfortably in the end, chasing 213 on a tough pitch. All the bowlers contributed in this one and much credit must go to Biased Indian's first innings unbeaten half-century which held a small innings together. The second innings belonged first to Xavier Rose for his 6-wicket haul and then to Anthony Lezama and Jamee999. Captain Age Master played a crucial half-century knock, but the composure with which Lezama and Jamee took the game home was extremely impressive. Very necessary win for a struggling Green team.

Good battling to a draw there lads we were under the cosh from the toss onwards.

Happy with 7 wickets and 2 important innings but we really need to pick up our fielding!

Great win there. particularly pleasing to see the young guns step up :)

Again we managed to bowl an oposition side out for <100, superb effort all the bowlers, particularly Delkap and Hoy, whos economy was absolutley amazing.

Our first innings wasn't great either but Biased Indian held us together and gave us a solid lead going into the 2nd innings. another contribution from Rose down the order proved vital.

Pieterson than scored his 3rd or 4th century against us in their 2nd innings, i think he averages about 90 against us :(. Great bowling from Rose closed off their fightback.

212 wasn't gonna be an easy chase and we certainly got off to a shaky start but Lezama and Jamee saw us home with fine knocks :)

Lets keep building momentum in the run home.
