**Dev League Season 7**

Paid The Umpire

All Time Legend
Well... my crazy season has continued...

Earlier i was a part time bowler coming in at number 8...

Now i am a number four batsman who rarely bowls!

I love the varied image of me... :)

Also makes you wonder how close was AMZ to the ODI XI?
We couldn't take too many players from a losing side :p

Anyway, another comfortable victory for the Reds against one of the better teams in the comp. Good to see. Personally shocked at getting another good OD knock...must be something in those pies I got in the pavilion during the innings break

great performance lads, Blacks won but i don't think we won convincingly, winning by 26 runs ? Reddy did well with the ball alone as did Master Blaster and D. Hunter but the bowling needs to backup the batting right ? I'm happy to get some partnerships going and i find batting at 5 a Symonds/Clarke type responsibility, congrats on Buts and BK, espescially BK you got in a 89 run partnership with me and a 93 run one with Buts, Well done again lads.

Nice win Reds, I think the Blues are seeing red after that loss, or perhaps they have the blues after it? who knows, but some pretty horrible jokes there.

Great win, good to see Wright getting amoungst the wickets, he's been very unlucky this season in all forms.

Full credit to Jagaways and Markus who put on a decent 125 from 117 balls for the 3rd wicket, that hammered the nail into the coffin as far as the game result was concerned.

Bowling was good with the 3 main bowlers taking wickets. Superb part time bowling by Zaid and Markus who bowled their combined 10 for a mere 21 runs, taking 1 wicket in the process. That was one of the keys in our bowling, great support for our 3 main bowlers.

Well done guys.

well my averages have taken a little bit of a hit in the past week or so. but not to dissapointed with my efforts. moving from number 4 to opening is a huge change and i fell like i coped with it well. deffinalty been made easy with the newcomers yasa etc. ur guys performances have been right up there and the guys on cw duty know they have a challenge for the place in our team

CRICKET WEB BLUE 196/3 25.0 overs
ENGLAND 'A' 169/3 25.0 overs

Cricket Web Blue won by 27 runs

Man of the match: Broncoman

Daily Blast Comment: With absolutely no consideration for Rich and Craig's records, Broncoman SMASHED a new 25Smash record for fastest 50 and 100 in Blue's huge total batting first. England gave the chase a run, but only came on late in the innings and it was far too little too late.

Is that what we call freaky economy rates?

Oh well, reasonably good effort, and unfortunate - shame that Zaid couldn't capitalise late on, but it was probably felt that he needed to protect his wicket in case someone even less apt at slogging came in ;)

Well we couldn't expect to win forever but still an ok job.
I must commend steds on his GREAT stand of 52 but in the end we couldn't pull it off. It was still a good game.

GO REDS!!
