master blaster, i think we need to have an emergency fielding session. the old addage of catches win matches was proved true today. we cant accept a draw when we did enough to win. good stuff yassa, nice bowling.

Well played Blacks. Despite the dropped catches, it was a pleasing effort against Australia A.:)

Personally, I was very happy with my 5 wickets:)

A better result this time boys, well done to all involved. Mr Ponting was outstanding with his 5 wickets, and the top order batsmen fired this time with C Buts, Yasa, Kearsley and BK Smith all making valued contributions.

There are many positives, but the two major areas of concern are our fielding, which is letting us down, and our lower order batting. We need contributions from guys like Ryan, Vishnu Reddy and even Mr Ponting. They need to scrape as many runs as possible, as they all have the potential to bat and add a few runs.

But, the as the old saying goes, 'catches win matches', and we'll be definitely getting a few fielding drills in before the next game.

Well done guys... It certainly wasn't pretty or perfect but top teams have to win games like that... and we've been losing them in the past.

A huge congratulations to Deeps who made a come back and thanks to the boys like Dave and co who told me to give him a go... we were well rewarded by a fantastic innings in the first innings. Vimes played another crucial innings but hey we've come to expect that....

Kennett was awesome with the ball but perhaps the most impressive thing was that we held our catches. In slippery conditions on the first day we held onto some very good catches and the fielding was superb... all that extra practice is paying off majorly. well done.

A win is good back to string a few together is even better. Let's try to keep things going and not get complacent.

Age summed it up pretty well, alot of players got starts in the first innings but none went on (i got run out again :(), After the low first innings score we were always on the back foot a bit and never quite recovered enough. Heads up guys and lets get ready for the game tomorrow.

Actually funny you should say that. I was wondering whether I could get a go further up the order - going by the stats Mr. Mxy gave out a couple of days ago I have averaged 22 and 19 this years and in my career ive hit 5 50s...im not that bad I thought...

But im not sure about the other guys either so meh...

Great stuff there team - good bowling, reasonably good batting on a challenging pitch, good fielding (well, apart from me flooring one as usual ;)) and a comfortable win in the end :)

Your a very good man to have coming in at number 11, as your quite competent with the bat. But, yes you do make an interesting point, I'll look into your request of coming up the order a little bit.

Cheers mate,

A bit better Black, our fielding let us down again :( If we'd have taken Love on 43 in the second innings it could have been different.

Dissapointed not to exploit the cracks second innnings

A little disappionting we weren't able to push for a win, but a draw is a better then a loss. Pleased with my first innings effort, but not in the second. Pleased with Supeed's effort.

I'm happy with the 2 for 4 from 6. xD But still, we're in a bad losing streak. :{ Nevermind though, chin up and all that, wot wot?

Congratulations Reds on another great team effort. The side is growing more confident by the day, and Ian is leading the team exceptionaly in Marc's absense, I am also enjoying the added responsibility.

You can always take something to work on from that game, and once again I think the Reds can work on their catching, had we taken all our catches we would have made the last innings chase a little easier.

Well done boys, keep it up.

Awsome effort there guys. In crappy conditions you guys played exceptionally well.

Well done to Fatty Markus as his awsome leadership shown while Marc and Bugs are away, really has put ina awsome effort - Just as the team have stepped up a notch while Marc, Bugs and myself have been away, the way things are going ill be pushing for a spot in the side when the 1 dayers are over!!

Well deserved win blokes. Special mention to Supah Freak and Deeps who both have had little oppertunities this year, and they put in a great game, Deeps with the bat, and Supah Freak with the ball. Congrats guys.
