Well looks like the football pep-talker worked again!!!!!!
Maybe the management should look into giving him a permanent job.
GREAT win..... but i still think its overshdowed by our recent poor form.... we still have a lot more to prove that this wasn't just luck. Lets go out there win 10 straight!!!!

Another disappointing result for us, we are starting to lose our way badly.Hopefully we will be able to bounce back in our one day games against Black and Blue.

There's something very, very wrong with having ideal batting conditions, having only one wicket down and not having a single notable over in the entire innings. Only 34 runs off the last five overs (EDIT: Aside from the few which we only scored one run in :p). Does this sim take into account that teams are likely to accelerate during the last overs should there be a lot of wickets in hand, or were our players just missing completely and the Blue bowlers doing the same? Or was it just really, really good Blue fielding? o_o I'm lost as to how that happened. One wicket in hand should have meant over ten runs being scored in every one of the last five overs.

Commedable humility shown by Mr. Markus so far in his captaincy stint. Applause.
I taught him everything he knows ;)

I'm glad to see that he's stepped up to the plate and so far I believe he's set an example with either bat or ball in every game he's skippered?

Seconded. You should bat much higher.
As far as I know he's only had 1 go at 7, because he's primarily being selected as an almost all rounder (and was expected to have to shoulder more of the overs with Dave not available)

We've brought in specialists bats to cover the other people in the CW XI, so they take the specialists spots.

Yeah, my opinion is you bat better down the order Zaid. Forming partnerships with the tail is what you do well, and more often then not it helps the team greatly.

And the reason you only bowled 5 overs, I assume was because the other bowlers were bowling better then you, and going on the scorecard that seems to be the case, with Markus bowling much more overs then usual, and taking wickets at the same time.
