great effort mate, dismissing blewy always makes bowlers smile, but doing it for your 200th is pretty special :)

well what a match, the bowlers really dominated this one, but credit to our batsmen we scored 106 more than them to claim the win :D:D:D

Cloete, Myself and Rose hammered the bowling, making it look more like an OD game. Hoy and Eyes held the innings together well :)

Rose and Hoy than ripped the blue's lineup apart around the ever solid Craig. Extra's making the 3rd highest score.

Same old same old with our 2nd innings, 6 players making between 20 and 40... noone making more :( but with that many starts we still managed a solid team score.

Indian, Delkap and Rose finished the job to give us a very solid win over the 'mighty' blues. hopefully this is the start of much better things.

Disapointing that Reds couldn't keep the winning streak going.

Looks like we fought hard, however we lacked that killer punch, and once again the batsman and bowlers didn't work as a team.

Good to see Kennett continue with a good match, and on a personal note, 6 wickets is quite pleasing, but not so pleasing in the fact I didn't take more and win it for the team.

Come on boys! We need 130% now for the rest of the season.

Finally the Greens win a 5D match.. Can't be any more happier.. A solid team effort.. Keep it up fellow Greens, we can and will come back !!

Go Greens..

On, a personal note, nice to come back after injury and missing the previous game play a part in victory (however small it may be:)) I hope my 9(70) could inspire the captain to promote me in batting to hold down an end when needed most :) Maybe I'll need to be a bit more consistent considering the 1st inning duck, but hey got a beauty that one :p

Also the dropped catches almost cost us. Dissapointed in dropping one myself and having Craig dropped twice off me in 1st inn .. We need to improve !!

This week twice the time in catching practice ;)

Great win boys, seems like the bowlers really had the better of this match, still to to do a bit of fielding work...but its great to get a win and start to turn the season around.

- Hoy bowled a triple-wicket-maiden - 122/8

Another dissapointing loss Red - the bowling is in good shape (perhaps we have found the attack that suits us best), but the batting is struggling. Too many of us not going on and making big scores. Let's reset and reapply ourselves for the remainder of the season.

marc, strictly on a proffesional level, may i ask why i was dropped from the 5d side.after all i am the vc and maybe should get some say in the matter.

its just very frustrating, i get dropped from the one day side as i am a walk up start, this was last season before the wc, and i want to strengthen my overall game which means the 5d game but i can not do that when i keep playing very little 5day cricket.

i am sure you can understand where i am coming from.

Bugs, I can't exactly answer this question with full knowledge, but my only assumption is poor form. You've never exactly set the world alight as a FC batsman, and your poor form this season means when the team is going poorly, your FC career record and poor form don't paint a pretty picture.

i understand that but as a team we are not travelling to well in the fc so being dropped is like saying its your fault , does that make sense.

i just dont want to be a one day player which is the path i am being sent down.

I see where you are coming from, but I don't see how it can be just your fault. However, changes are made when a team is underperforming and it was unfortunate that you were the one of the 4 to make way, but that happens in cricket.

The problem is, you are oging down the one day road because it is the only form of the game you have proved yourself as a top-shelf player.
