Cricket Web Blue 451/8d & 341/4d
Australia 'A' 405 & 221/7
Cricket Web Blue draw with Australia 'A'
Man of the match: Patrick Fisher
Coach's Comments:
I couldn't ask for any more out of these guys in this match. Great batting by Fisher (maiden FC hundred) and Jamee (highest FC score) set up a huge first innings on a flat track. David Kennett then bowled his heart out and was rewarded well as Aus 'A' collapsed on first innings. In the second innings, StUEy and Fisher got going with another big opening partnership. Buts and PY then contributed nicely for a safe declaration. Australia 'A' were never cruising to a draw as one would have thought, especially when Kennett ripped through the top and middle order for his first 5w haul this season and the 3rd for him in FC cricket. A draw in the end, but to force Aus 'A' so close on that sort of a pitch was extremely impressive.

Veterans XI 354 & 245
Cricket Web Red 395 & 205/3
Cricket Web Red won by 7 wickets
Man of the match: Neil Pickup
Coach's Comments:
Clearly Neil Pickup is a star! In light of the recent criticism levelled at him, Pickup entered this game with all sorts of pressure on his shoulders. Like the champ he is, the fourth change bowler spun a web around the Veteran batsmen and snared 6 in the first. The Reds' reply was catalyzed by an extremely classy and impressive century by Bugssy, helped along by Muhaffy and Ghansar with solidity. Bowling again, the Reds needed a spark again. Surprise, surprise, it came from Pickup. 5 more wickets to go to a match haul of 11. Chasing 205 for victory, the runs came with ease as Cloete found his stroke following a couple of early wickets. Bugssy also continued his form and an easy victory proved the result. Great win against a strong team.

India A 239 & 298
Cricket Web Green 518 & 20/2
Cricket Web Green won by 8 wickets
Man of the match: Master Blaster
Coach's Comments:
What a win! The best team in the Dev League and a huge win for the Greens. Master Blaster was in veteran form in bowling solidly and getting results for his team. Xavier Rose struggled again though. All that said, the real story of the game was Age Master. Surely he has 'arrived' now. Another huge hundred to inspire the ranks for big runs. Toogood, Smith, Money and Blaster did it nicely in support. Rose and Blaster combined to knock back the Indians again and the Greens won comfortably in the end.
