Cricket Web Green won by an innings and 7 runs

Man of the match: Eclipse

Coach's Comments:
Eclipse finally finds form after a lean streak in international cricket. A timely century was backed by a batting lineup where almost everyone contributed nicely against the old men bowlers. With the ball, Sanz got the job done in the first innings with another fine spell of bowling. Rose and Ahmad were also quite good. In the second innings, it was Master Blaster who took up the challenge and led the attack. Once more Rose and Ahmad were impressive in support. A tremendous win this one, as a couple of names have just about booked their flights for the 'A' tour (at least).

very very impressive win Eclipse was brilliant :) the rest of the batting was pretty solid as well which really gave us the match as long as we bowled well, which Rose, Sanz, MB and Ahmad did :) great win boys

Congrats Dave on your first 5 wicket haul, much deserved.

Our new ball combination is really starting to fire. You took the spoils this time - Well done!
Well done boys :)

I'm going to assume that there wasn't any spin for the taking on that track!

I'm grateful to Kyle and Dan for sticking about for that ninth wicket stand, otherwise it could've got a bit messy...

I'm sure it'll be the selectors who pick the sides.

good win by the reds, and yet again we relied on the middle to lower order to help us out but it was a good gutzy performance.

well bowled to dave with 6 for and its a little disapointing to see the more experienced players not doing so well but its good to see the young guys doing the hard yards.

well bowled to daniel in the 2nd innings and dave also picking up a couple

good to hit some runs 45 & 34 but i should really go on with those starts and i do appoligie to theteam for not going on after doing all the hard work.

lets keep going reds

Don't worry i'm just in a poor run of form right now. We'll see who's on top when the season's over and when i regain the form i had at the start of the season. :p Interesting to note that CW Red is lagging far behind in this respect. One thing though that their bowlers have is that they share the wickets and so too us greens. :D

Hope i get to bat this time.I've really worked hard and i want to see if it's paid off. It'd be good to bat first if conditions allow.

By the time Andrew retires i hope to have gained enough experience to become a captain.Maybe vice-captain even?By the way don't the sides have vice-captains?Just asking.

I think that the captaincy goes to one of the other senior players in the case of the captain missing a game, but there's no reason IMO for an official vice captain as that would basically mean that player is guaranteed a spot.
