India A 233 & 339
Cricket Web Blue 252 & 198
India A won by 122 runs
Man of the match: RV Bhardwaj
Coach's Comments:
Well-bowled, but poorly batted against the spin... again. Hasley was superb in the first innings, but couldn't use the second innings wear as effectively as Mishra did and the Blues batting proceeded to collaspe in the chase.

Cricket Web Green 491
Veterans XI 206 & 278
Cricket Web Green won by an innings and 7 runs
Man of the match: Eclipse
Coach's Comments:
Eclipse finally finds form after a lean streak in international cricket. A timely century was backed by a batting lineup where almost everyone contributed nicely against the old men bowlers. With the ball, Sanz got the job done in the first innings with another fine spell of bowling. Rose and Ahmad were also quite good. In the second innings, it was Master Blaster who took up the challenge and led the attack. Once more Rose and Ahmad were impressive in support. A tremendous win this one, as a couple of names have just about booked their flights for the 'A' tour (at least).

South Africa 'A' 220 & 222
Cricket Web Red 191 & 252/8
Cricket Web Red won by 2 wickets
Man of the match: Dave
Coach's Comments:
There comes a time in every cricketer's career when he comes of age. Steve Harmison did it against the West Indies and Dave does it now. On a day when he just had everything functioning smoothly, Dave found the rhythm that took him to his maiden 5w haul in FC cricket to limit SA 'A' to a mediocre first innings score. The Reds first innings wasn't much better though, with the international players (bar Bugssy) failing. Zaid Ghansar was once again called upon for a crucial lower order effort and Dave hung in there nicely too. South Africa A batted again and Muhaffy caught fire. His bowling was dead on and surprisingly making use of the swing in the air due to the overhead clouds. With Dave, Muhaffy shredded the SA lineup and set up a useful chase target for the Reds. Craig and Cloete didn't last long, but Blewy, Eyes, Bugssy and Marc showed their experiencem before Muhaffy played the crucial innings of 20 not out to take it home. Very very impressive win here.
