FS Jackson?
No , Not Jackson.

FS Jackson - Captain 5 Test - Won Toss on all 5 occasions.

Win loss record - Won 2 drawn 3.

The person I am after has a 100% record winning the toss and winning the Test .:)

It has to be one from Boycott, Holding, Derryck Murray and Sehwag. All of them won the only two matches they led in. Someone has to tell which of them has perfect toss winning record :)

the answer was actually talked about during the VB series..
That didnt help much but here's the answer :)

Boycott led England, won the toss and England wone the match two on the only two occasions he led the national side in the limited overs game - both times against Pakistan

1. At Sialkot on 30th Dec 1977 and
2. At Old Trafford, 24th and 25th May 1978.

I am going to be travelling again so will somone else take up the next question please.

You walk in to watch an ODI game after the first 2 balls of the first over has been bowled.

Gilly and Katich are at the wicket.
The score board indicates:

Australia 12 for no loss (after 0.2 overs)
Gilchrist 6 not out
Katich 6 not out

Gilly is getting ready to face the third ball.

Can you explain what has happened?

Right. Gilly ran three, with one short, and there were 4 overthrows.

Then the same happened for Katich :p
Close enought Katich ran three, one short and four over throws and then Gilly hit six.

Well done your turn :)

Since Jamee is not around and to undo some of the damage to my reputation of 'leaving-the-thread' in a lurch, I am using this opportunity to revive my last UNFINISHED question.

Here is the quiz and the queries that were posted till I 'vanished" :)

1. Tayfield
2. JC White
3. Muralitharan
4. Arthur Mailey
5. Lance Gibbs
6. Kapil Dev

Who are the next two on this list?

1. Is it related to test matches ?(TIF)..... YES
2. Is it related to bowling ?(TIF)......YES
Q3. Has it got to do with achieving something in A Test Match ?(Jason)......YES
Q4. Has it got to do with a performance in a Test Innings ?(Jason).....YES
Q5. is it to do with taking an amount of wickets(33/3from3.3)......NO

The unanswered queries :-

Q6. Has it got to do with most balls bowled in an innings ?(Jason).......NO
Q7. Has it got to with the record in a country ? (eg. Record in Australia )(Jason)........NO
Q8. Most no. of maiden overs in an innings?(TIF).......NO

Clue # 1. : It is a list in the sense that the names are actually put in a list from which I have taken them.
