Is that the one that goesLove Harvs
He should tell the story about how he could only approach Sir Don via the intercessory priest, Sam Loxton.
Haven't heard that one before...
True, but our pitches are the fastest in the world bar maybe SA. Could make that much difference?Yeah but it isn't as though the other sides are using toothpicks.
You'd think so.That's gotta be Burn's test career for the next year or so done.
That give's Handscomb and hopefully Patterson a shot. Uzi up to open. A 4-6 of Fungus, KPat and Handjob is a worry, but **** it, we need to give a shot to some new faces. Marsh ready to come back in against Pakistan as required.
That's the only thing that could possibly save him, but they might decide to give Callum one more go instead and if he doesn't perform then Marsh takes his spot. With Marsh a certain starter in Bris they may just leave Burns in for Adelaide
Mainly because of Marsh being back next game (not that he's an opener either). Why should Uzi open? He has been going fine at 3. Find an opener if u don't like Burns. Like a proper one.
It's just the technique notthe bats. Clive Lloyd used a three pound plus bat. If you plonk on the front dog too early and play around your front pad you're cooked. Ask Graham Gooch.True, but our pitches are the fastest in the world bar maybe SA. Could make that much difference?
Do you think lighter bats make techniques easier or not enough difference to bother comparing?
Not a difficult decision. Pick Renshaw, Handscomb and Patterson, worst performer replace with SmarshRenshaw is certainly looking like a better pick than Burns for the next test, but given it'll only be one test, it'll be interesting to see what the selectors do. Worst case scenario, Renshaw gets picked, makes a pair and Marsh replaces him next test. Best case scenario, Renshaw gets picked, makes a double and the selectors have a difficult decision come Brisbane.
Viv used a heavy bat as well, but I'm not looking out at the cricket we're producing and not exactly seeing that standard of player. Viv was a very strong guy, and Supercat was just incredibly talented. It's just the technique notthe bats. Clive Lloyd used a three pound plus bat.
