I wouldn't - he can only use two primaries at a time, so his bowling might as well be useless. He's only really got half a season of training left anyway, so I doubt he'd get more than one more primary skill pop. I'd rather fork out 600-700k for, say a 17yo proficient/feeble allrounder; he'd end up being miles better than that.Jamee999 said:Wow.
That is just Wow. If you put a lot of training into him he could probably get respectable bowling :O
Wonderful death bowler, concentrates remarkably, and proficent batting, along with strong keeping.
Someone's bid 900K for him.
Yep. That keeper isn't that exceptional anyway, if you trained a 17yo medium bat medium keeping from the start of a season in just keeping and batting (just 1 session in each) they'd end up being at least as good as that guy going for 900K.Adamc said:I wouldn't - he can only use two primaries at a time, so his bowling might as well be useless. nah, i'm still in it, but gosh. all i did was comment on the voting closing soon, wishing everyone the best of luck.kwek said:and therefor disqualified ?
Congratz mate i'll be supporting you! pitty I can't vote on you.Adamc said:Hmm, scary stuff, I managed to get the WI manager title 66 votes to 48...oh dear, now I have to do stuff. Should be fun though.
Nice, a guy won by one vote for the England elections, are you both national manager and Asterix XI manager or just national manager then?Adamc said:Hmm, scary stuff, I managed to get the WI manager title 66 votes to 48...oh dear, now I have to do stuff. Should be fun though.
Both at the moment (though my club team will probably crash and burn now), the national manager role is just a 16-week tenure. No idea when the games actually start though, so I'll assume it's next week...need to get a squad together quickly.Scaly piscine said:Nice, a guy won by one vote for the England elections, are you both national manager and Asterix XI manager or just national manager then?
I've found that high concentration batsmen tend to respond to aggresive orders much better, so someone like that would be useful to have around in the last 10 overs IMO. He'd probably do better than the competent/woeful in most circumstances regardless of form (although he's probably low-mediocre, so if your competent is near respectable there would be a palpable difference), so wouldn't be wasted up the order either, depends what your other bats are like.By the way where would people bat him in relation to competent/woeful batsmen in much worse and similar form?
It's just been changed - it's now got me winning 22 to 16, so evidently the votes were trebled for some reason. I thought a 50% voter turnout seemed a bit unrealistic...Adamc said:Hmm, scary stuff, I managed to get the WI manager title 66 votes to 48...oh dear, now I have to do stuff. Should be fun though.
