Kill him. Well, try to sell him at least.

Investigated further into the surprise pitch change - I just had a look at scorecards of three games I played previously that I am 100% certain were on flat pitches, but the pitch has changed to slow in the scorecards. Presumably the pitch for my next match is flat despite being displayed as slow on the scorecard - either that or it's actually slow despite being displayed as flat on the ground page. Bleh.

Won my league match pretty easily for a change, bowled them out for 158 with my 17yo indian quickie Santosh Islam taking 4-26. Notably Boyd took 5 catches(he's not a WK)

Then scored 161-1 in 36.1 overs, both openers scoring 50's with Lawrence (easily my best batsman-371runs@123.67 this season) scoring 72*.

Lifts me in to 4th place after my awful start and i'm playing bottom of the league next.

I've bought a couple of youngsters with a view to improving my fielding, as i noticed it wasn't very good.

Signed 17yo Fanny Bodkin for a grand, he has competent fielding and woeful batting.

Callum Wildsmith is 18, feeble bowler and mediocre fielder but competent stamina so he may come in handy if and when FC games come in.

Hopefully i'll get a pop this week and a decent youth.
