Fired, I would assume.
Your man Hogde is running through us pretty bad:

4.4 W Hodge to Clayton
Bowled him! The inswinger clearly bamboozled Clayton and he didn't even attempt to play it. That one'll keep him awake tonight!
4.3 W Hodge to Quintin
What a cracking ball. Quintin couldn't do much about that one.
4.2 W Hodge to Hanson
Did that pitch in-line? Umpire says yes and the slow raise of the finger signals that Hodge has got his man

That makes it 5/26, looks like its going to be a quick match.

Am going alright here in my game, am bowling first. Stone, who, judging by his wage would be either high respectable or low proficient, is playing a horribly slow innings, I just hope we don't do something stupid like get him out. Bit disappointed with Canning, he only took 1/34 off his 10.

End of Over 36: 145-2, runrate=4.03
Giles 8-0-32-0
Stone* 44 (100 balls)
Riggott 13 (35 balls)
Last Wicket: Harrison c. Parr b. Canning 15 (FOW: 112/2)

Edit: Erasmus and Dunne doing the trick in the last 10 again. Bowled them out after 48 overs, with the two of them taking 8 wickets for 44 runs. Erasmus ends with 5/36 off 9 and I'm chasing 216.

Well thats my batting line up, they collaspe like that from time to time when they come up against decent bowlers.

I might play you again later in the year when my trainees are ready to play in the starting XI. I might try an organise a friendly for next week with Greg or AD, so i can win a game against a CW team.

Andy, you up for a game next week? You'll beat me, but a game's a game.
Sure, just challenged you. Hodge vs. Griffin will be interesting.

Anyway, wrapped my game up fairly easily, Farmer outscoring Griffin again

Fishos 216 (48.0)
Erasmus 5/36 (9), Dunne 4/38 (9), Canning 1/34 (10)

Magical Ponies 0/217 (32.4)
Farmer 117* (105), Griffin 91* (92)

Magical Ponies Fishos
Top Order: competent mediocre
Middle Order: mediocre abysmal
Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: mediocre woeful
Spin Bowling: mediocre woeful
Fielding: woeful woeful
MOTM: Erasmus

Best middle order rating I've got yet, I think. Would be because I had Canning (prof) playing at 5, and Sutton (resp) was moved down from number 3 to 4, hence coming into the middle order.

Got my cup semi today, against Doobie Bombers who beat me by 63 runs on Friday (scoring 354 on a slow pitch). Ratings from that match:
Code:
     [B] Doobie Bombers Asterix XI[/B]
Top Order: wonderful remarkable
Middle Order: remarkable strong
Lower Order: abysmal feeble
Seam Bowling: proficient remarkable
Spin Bowling: strong strong
Fielding: feeble feeble
I tried to change my pitch to Green, but for some reason it ended up staying on H+F for three days, so that's what we're playing on. Going to promote Watkins to no. 3 (he scored 79* off 49 balls from no. 5 on Friday) and hope we don't lose many wickets.

I'll change the bowling orders around a bit as Friday was a disaster. My best bowlers ended up with the worst figures - Louis 1-82 and Watkins 1-72. Will need a lot of luck to put a dent in their batting lineup though.

In a friendly on an uneven pitch against some guy who challenged me, don't think he's much cop.

End of Over 14: 129-1, runrate=9.21
Isaac 7-0-69-0
Lawrence* 53 (41 balls)
Challinor 69 (46 balls)
