Accepted, looking forward to this.
Indeed. Looking at the ratings, it should be a close game. Will be relying on Canning and Griffin to do some damage.

BARNES OUT
You should probably win, especially if Hodge or Pryde don't fire.

EDIT: Just saw it's a hard and fast, and you should definately out-score me. I think I've lost this one.

End of Over 50: 363-2, runrate=7.26
Ricketts 10-0-81-1
Gowshall* 25 (16 balls)
Aldred 21 (15 balls)

Huge total. Gowshall and Aldred slog it off, after big innings for Trotman (158) and Nix (144).

Nice way for Bradford to leave the 999ers, was a pre-ITS YP, and his money will get us back in the black.

The team's only ever been financially secure before, and the last week was rather worrying.

Brett Bradford (343587) btw, I think he's worth more than £150,000. About 15 minutes left.

Just had a bit of a look his secondries could do a bit of qork but otherwise he is an alright bowler for a new team his wage indicates he could pop in a few things soon

Woohoo, through to the cup final against NorCricket United. Beat Doobie Bombers by 28 runs despite my bowlers not taking a wicket for 47 overs. Actually I probably won because my bowlers took so long to take a wicket, as his best batsmen were at 3 and 4, and his openers scored too slowly to win the match.

Asterix XI 350-1
Cuss 157* (143), Watkins 103* (80), Wynand 63 (80)

Doobie Bombers 322-2
Louis 1-60, Watkins 1-67

Code:
[B] Asterix XI Doobie Bombers[/B]
Top Order: exceptional wonderful
Middle Order: competent remarkable
Lower Order: woeful abysmal
Seam Bowling: quality proficient
Spin Bowling: strong strong
Fielding: feeble feeble
I moved Watkins to no. 3, which improved my top order rating two levels and reduced middle order by the same amount. Seam bowling went down a level after Friday's loss which is a bit worrying.

Have a tough match next Friday against Pebble Street who beat me last time and also beat NorCricket the other day, not sure whether to PAN or TIE and focus on the cup. NorCricket got strangely low ratings today compared to previous matches, they look beatable on paper but for some reason my batting always seems to capitulate against them.

Might bring in a ringer if I spot someone decent on the market, but the difference between coming 1st and 2nd is only 150k so I'm not that desperate. The real payoff is in gate receipts. If I don't buy anyone I'll have well over 1m by next week, regardless of whether I win or not - quite happy with that considering I was in debt just a few weeks ago.
