Lost my shot at the lead by 30 runs

The pre match talk was all about removing their gun batmsan early and seeing off the opening spell but it went completely wrong.

They made 308-8 from 50, Whittingham made 166*, Islam took 5-42.

Then i was reduced to 30-3 with my best 2 batsmen, Challinor(0) and Abdul Kadir(3) both out. So i guess getting within 30 runs was admirable, Magloire made 40, Webster 117 and Naidoo 55, at one point we have recovered to 241-4 but we collapsed under the pressure of the required run rate.

Ratings were a bit dissapointing for a GFI, think my opponent went for a GFI as well.

I had a solid TIE win against the 2nd bottom side in my league. It was much needed - I'm currently 3-4 and in 5th spot, with games against 6 and 8 coming up. Really need to beat #6 in order to break into the top 4, so I'm considering a PAN.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
haha, was in a strong position to win a TIE game and then we collapsed and lost 6ish wickets in 2 overs and lost by 32 runs. Ha ha haaaaa...

PS would be up for a friendly challenge...

won by 10 wickets today, with wheat and fry getting me home with minimal effort. crowd of 31,000. just 3,000 short of a sell out. bank is up to 650,000. all focus turns back to the cup on monday. a chance of moving into the quarter finals. pitch is now flat, so my opponents bowlers will hopefully be nulified.
