Do you want to play a 1st or 2nd XI SP?
Up to you, I'm playing mostly a first team, so I'll be getting respectable-ish top order, mediocre/competent middle order, mediocre/competent seam and competent/respectable spin.

Does anyone know the maximum number of ITS's attributable to a new Academy Player
Depends on the condition of your academy and the age of player you promote. 35 is the absolute maximum for 17yo, 48 I think for 20yo.

Academy player was useless again - competent stamina but everything else worthless.

beat Ash in a friendly, opening bowler shared all 10 between them

No it's not. The table that had them listed from a while ago before the system came into place was wrong, each maximum was actually 1-2 lower.

Well, wasted a GFI, sixth-round cup exit for me.

Borderliners 271-7
Pollock 3-64, Malik 3-71, Male 1-47, Badley 0-28, Pollock 0-38

Asterix XI 245-10 (49.3)
Cuss 92 (92), Wynand 57 (117)

Wynand really stuffed things up for me, must've run out of stamina or something. He has mediocre stamina so I thought he would be ok at no. 3, but I guess not. We still had a chance at 216-4 needing about 10 an over, but then Cuss got out, so yeah. His NT/U19 bowlers took 3 and 4 wickets respectively, but they were all in the last few overs so they didn't do as much damage as I thought they would.

Got my best ever ratings (unsurprisingly as it was a GFI), still didn't quite match Borderliners though:

Code:
               [B]Borderliners Asterix XI[/B]
Top Order: proficient quality
Middle Order: wonderful superb
Lower Order: woeful woeful
Seam Bowling: remarkable quality
Spin Bowling: superb quality
Fielding: respectable competent
Think I would've got wonderful top order if I opened with Cuss, not that it matters. Oh well, halved my fitness so I'm going to be pretty screwed in my league matches for the rest of the season, but that was always going to be the case. One of the teams in my league just got masterful top order on TIE, hmm.

Beat Boulevard Bombers fairly comfortably, was surprised by my ratings, they're essentially the same as my GFIed game on Thursday. I won that game and my morale went up 2 levels and fitness down 2 levels, so the morale and team fitness shouldn't have made much difference. I should have 3 bowlers who are good enough for the league I'm in by the end of the season. Hopefully I can hunt down another decent value proficient bowler at some point.

Expectedly my team lost.Played two inexperienced bowlers and a host of inexperienced batsmen. The only ones who came good were my established players. Disapponited to say the least.

Oh BTW, if anyone's up for a friendly I'm free next Sunday. Playing in a friendly cup the week after next so this is my only chance to arrange a friendly. Prefer it to be at my ground since attendance will most likely be higher. Cuss won't play so it'll basically be a 2nd XI. 8-)
