Nice pull there. I think you should definetely bother with his batting, get it up to at least respectable or high competent so that he can be a genuine allrounder. Canning (who I pulled two weeks ago) is very similar to him (although your guy has higher wages):

Gavin Canning - 17 yo, BT Rating=4,747
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, competent batting form, strong bowling form, fresh
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: woeful
Bowling: respectable Consistency: feeble
Fielding: abysmal

He popped in stamina, conc and cons in his first week. I currently have him on two bowling and fitness nets, and a batting, keeping and fitness net (at least until the week 8 training updates). I plan to get him to at least respectable batting, and then maybe superb bowling, given that he's only 17.

What ITS's did you do, Rob?

I did 12 on both bat and ball and 5 each on conc and cons. Hmm for this training update im only giving him the two bowling nets, since i know one my batsmen is popping to proficient on monday so he can have his batting nets. Here is my training for monday

Two batting and one keeping

Matthew Ridgewell - 18 yo, BT Rating=14,096
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with worthless leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: competent
Batting: strong Concentration: respectable
Bowling: woeful Consistency: feeble
Fielding: abysmal

Two batting and one fielding

Eddie Saunders - 18 yo, BT Rating=13,796
LH Batsman, LF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with strong leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: proficient Concentration: proficient
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: woeful
Fielding: abysmal

Two batting

Justin Smart - 18 yo, BT Rating=8,203
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, strong batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with proficient leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: respectable Concentration: competent
Bowling: worthless Consistency: competent
Fielding: abysmal

Two bowling though it will be increased to 3 bowling one stamina, or 2 bowling one stamina and one feeble OR two bowling one batting one stamina

Josh Morgan - 17 yo, BT Rating=4,701
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A steady player with proficient leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: mediocre Concentration: feeble
Bowling: respectable Consistency: woeful
Fielding: worthless

Really need to train Morgan up though since my bowling is so weak

I'd sell one of your batting trainees to make room for Morgan. You could get a decent price for Smart and buy a good 'old' player who you don't have to train (or just hoard the cash), which would free up a batting net for Morgan. I agree with Andy, you should try to get his batting up to competent or respectable so he's a genuine allrounder instead of just a bowler who can bat.

Hmm since i know Smart is going to pop to proficient on monday i think ill keep him because he doesn't need much more training and then those two batting nets can be given to Morgan. I remember you advising me to sell Smart when i first got him as well, but i guess i need him since i really only have 3 good batsmen including him with a couple comps thrown in

Well, I'd keep him till Monday then sell him. You can get heaps for an 18yo proficient, and there's no point holding on to someone that young if you're not going to train him; you could easily buy an older strong or possibly superb batsman with the money you'd get from selling him. Up to you though.

Haha OK, if you like...:whistling:

Edit: I think you should get 500k or more, market's a bit unpredictable though.

I'd pick your time when to transfer list someone who's going to fetch 300k+, there are usually most people logged on on Sunday afternoon, followed by Friday afternoon/evening I think.
