This is all at the point when their wages were calculated:

Bent is about 6 weeks through their 13-14 weeks.
Respectable/competent ranges from £800-£1350 - Elsegood is slightly on the low side of that. Impossible to say specifically how high either of the main primaries are.
Wilmers is nearly 4 weeks through their 13-14 weeks.
Mediocre/mediocre/feeble ranges from £350-£600 - Stanton is about a third of the way up that. Again, impossible to say how high each primary is specifically.
Chorley is at best 1 week through their ~8 weeks.
Weekes is about 4 weeks through their 16-17 weeks.

Obviously if they've been trained since the wage recalculations they'll be higher up their levels.

With the new wages which are coming in to place, does anyone know if wages will be recalculated to include improvements from the start of the season?

The new wage structure isn't being introduced until next season, so yes.

Very stupid batting here by my guys

End of Over 21: 100-2, runrate=4.76, reqrunrate=6.24 (280-4)
Gadsby 4-0-17-1
Drench* 9 (15 balls)
Griffin 42 (70 balls)

Am GFIing as I have a semi-decent chance of winning this. A bit disappointed that they got 280 after they were 2 for 19 off 6 or so. Hopefully Griffin will up the run rate a bit soon.

Edit: Oh crap. Drench gets out, then next over Griffin (strong) and Parr (my keeper) fall in consecutive balls. Only Nomvete and Canning left in now, am officially dead

End of Over 30: 146-5, runrate=4.87, reqrunrate=6.75 (280-4)
Mcandrew 5-0-13-2
Canning* 1 (2 balls)
Nomvete 6 (6 balls)

If we hadn't lost wickets we'd be set for a victory

Think from now on I shouldn't set my bowlers so defensively, I really need to take more wickets.

I've noticed that been happening quite a bit recently actually, it's a little bizarre.

The team who knocked me out of the cup had wonderful rating for their seam bowling so not happened to me yet. :D

Your ratings weren't that much better. If you had say strong top order and seam bowling and still lost then you might feel unlucky, but there's not really much of a difference in ratings there.

My team is 49-0 after 8 overs, have GFIed this game so will be a bit worrying if I don't win.

Is on a flat pitch, but partially cloudy and humid weather, so hard to gauge what sort of scores are good - flat pitches can be quite bowler friendly in Battrick.

118-1 after 18 overs, bit annoying to have lost Armstrong to a guy with these stats:

Code:
Bowling O M R W Ave SR Econ Best 5wi
Season 63 4 354 5 70.80 75.60 5.62 3-11 0
Career 189 7 1034 11 94.00 103.09 5.47 3-11 0
