I don't think you realise how footy mad WA is. Theres no other way over here. 3 teams would be good.

The reason you're so footy mad over there in WA is cos there no other real options. There's 3 main sporting teams to support, the bulldogs, eagles and perth glory... This however will all change over the next 10 years as i see rugby union becoming the biggest sport in the west as they are crying out for a new sport. unfortunately i don't think that WA will get another team...

Tasmania would have to be front runners now that kangaroos are basically the ACT... Other options i see as being Northern Territory or a second sydney team which is something that has been looked at for some time now.

You can't forget the Wildcats. Basketball's got really big over here since about 5 years ago. And on your rugby comment, i'd have to disagree. All our families over here have been brought up with AFL, and I don't think introducing another sport, as good as it may be, will ever change that.
