Durham lose their first wicket, now 314/1. One run short of Durham's all time record partnership. Coetzer run out backing up for 107.

From the way things are going, he might not get a second bowl. Notts are 55/5 following on, still 130 runs behind EDIT 1 - 66/6 now, Harmison has taken 3 for 19 from 9 overs this morning. EDIT 2 - 66/7, Harmison getting Read for his 4th wicket of the innings EDIT 3 - 68/8, Harmison gets his...

Well..Brown and Read put up a good resistance with an 80 partnership, but Blackwell bowled Brown to put them 6 down. Notts now on 146/6. And just as I click post, Blackwell traps Read LBW...score now 158/7 EDIT 2 - And now Blackwell gets Adams, to leave them 166/8 Great situation for Durham...

He was in the squad, as was Onions (and indeed Broad and Swann were in the Notts squad i think). Theres some sort of rule which allows teams to name players in the England team, and then use them when they're released from the squad. Anyway, 2 wickets have fallen, Wood & Wagh have fallen to...

Notts struggling for runs early in their innings. Durham scored 356 (4 good batting points there), and Notts are 2 for none after 8.2 overs (6 maidens). No commentary available for this match, so no idea if it's great accurate bowling, or if it's wide stuff that they're able to leave though.

Yep...good win today. As much as I still think that splitting the Twenty20 league games into 2 halves either side of the World Cup was a stupid bit of scheduling, I have to admit it seems to have done wonders for Durham. Before the break - played 6, won 2, lost 4 After - played 4, won 3, 1...

Yeh..that last partnership scored a few more runs than they should have...but still...it's the lowest score that anyone has scored against Durham in Twenty20, and the 40 run margin should improve the runrate a bit.

Yorkshire having a terrible batting evening, 64/9 after 16 overs chasing Durhams 131. I thought 131 wasn't anywhere near enough, but Vaughan is Yorks top scorer with 16...Rashid is 14no, and everyone else is in single figures.

unbelievable end to the Durham-Surrey game, Surrey were so far ahead at one point (30 runs ahead of Durham with 9 overs to go), but Durham haul it back and win by 1 run. Blackwell taking 2 wickets with the last 2 balls to leave Ramprakash stranded on 109 not out.

And Somerset lose de Bruyn...They're in some trouble now at 40/4 chasing Durham's 543.

Mark Davies is a good bowler, but his biggest problem has been a lot of injuries...he missed big chunks of 2004 & 2005 and was out for most of 2006. Still his career stats are as follows (including the first innings of this match) First-class 62 matches, 217 wickets, avg 20.88 List A...

wickets galore at Basingstoke, Durham 156 Hampshire 65/6 at stumps It's irritating that Durham have had a couple of low scoring matches this year, the lack of Batting points could really hurt them come the end of the season.

I presume that's the reason, because Collingwood played today as well (scoring 65no from 55 balls, and taking 2 wickets).

The same way that last September, 33 wickets fell over 1 and a half days in the Lancashire v Durham match without anything being done about it http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/countycricket2007/engine/match/268111.html
