    ***Official***Match #39- Australia vs Afghanistan - November 7th - Wankhede, Mumbai (D/N)

That dropped catch probably already the turning point, just like vs Pak.

This is why chasing in WC is hard, and anyone who says batting first vs second in KO is equal needs to watch the games more closely!

I'd say 90/10 in favor of Oz right now, if there's no dew it could be go down to 70/30 as well but Oz massive favourites.

Depends on the bowling, 280 is the highest chase here in all these years.

We don't know how much it will spin here, Oz spinners weren't trying to spin it much either. If it turns big, which it usually does here, with some uneven bounce this could be a tough chase.

Starc super lucky to get away with that wide!

Other teams should take a note, unless they have major reversals/retirements Afghans will be monsters in the 2031 WC in India!

It could be a matter of interpretation, when does the clock start for a new batter? After the review timer ends or when the batter walks off the pitch, or when the umpire first gave him out? I doubt they've codified this in MCC but I could be wrong.

Virat Kohli, the greatest ODI bat ever?

Crying over what exactly? You bring a point that he failed in a final chasing what is still the biggest score in a WC 20 years down the line, that too in a KO. Oz were the better team that won on that day & the best ODI team for at least 8-10 years. SRT's one failure in the biggest game of his...

Virat Kohli, the greatest ODI bat ever?

Survived? That one was overturned or are you another conspiracy theorist like Ajmal? And De Silva was dropped by Healy early on in the chase vs Oz back in 96, do you wanna dig up every drop from the past finals?

Virat Kohli, the greatest ODI bat ever?

Those two aren't the same - sure you could say he failed in the biggest game of them all then what about semis or QF when batting/first or second? Ponting had the easiest platform on a belter of a track where 3 others from the same team scored 50's that day. Gilly's 140 odd in 2007 was much...

Virat Kohli, the greatest ODI bat ever?

It was a failure only because you don't see the context - the game was already lost in the first innings! Our 0.001% chance of winning was if we got off to a flyer, like vs Pak, with both openers smashing it to all corners. You could argue he should've let Sehwag take the strike first, like most...

Virat Kohli, the greatest ODI bat ever?

And is that because Oz batted first on a belter & Zaheer blew the game in the first over itself? Do you wanna see how other "superstars" fared in second innings in KO chases in WC 8-) View overall figures [change view] Primary team Australia or India Trophy World Cup Match type...

Chamipons Trophy at stake for top 7

That's just reality, politics will be the overarching feature of any Ind/Pak fixture whether we like it or not. And unlike the past I don't believe anyone in power is serious enough to solve it in our lifetimes, neither the army/rulers in Pak nor our successive govts here!

Chamipons Trophy at stake for top 7

And can ICC guarantee the same hosts would host India for the CT, regardless of whether this govt gets reelected?

    ***Official***Match #29 - India vs England- October 29th - Lucknow (D/N)

Oz had 3 games before, against us the tournament favorites, & a full test+ODI tour just 6 months back. They couldn't have prepared any better even if they planned it. There was probably fatigue post Ashes but some of the non test members are making it count. Eng Also seemed to be fatigued IMO...
