How come it's both flat and not great to chase?Highest successful chase here : 284 by NZ in 2017.
Fairly recent. It is gonna get chased down ( basing this off of Aussie’s intent with the bat.)Highest successful chase here : 284 by NZ in 2017.
Ball does a lot in first 15-20 overs under lights. So most teams lose 3-4 wkts and chase gets finishedHow come it's both flat and not great to chase?
Marnus and to a lesser extent Inglis aside, none of the other blokes in this line up are very good at rotating the strike. They are more block or bash merchants. Well Maxwell could farm the strike but he often decides not to and I can't see that changing today. This ploy may not work against good spinnersI'd say 90/10 in favor of Oz right now, if there's no dew it could be go down to 70/30 as well but Oz massive favourites.
Sadly Afghans doesn't have seamers.Ball does a lot in first 15-20 overs under lights. So most teams lose 3-4 wkts and chase gets finished

I retract this statementFairly recent. It is gonna get chased down ( basing this off of Aussie’s intent with the bat.)
IPL effect where everyone chases which is totally irrelevant for this competition as Buttler has learned the hard way. This is why chasing in WC is hard, and anyone who says batting first vs second in KO is equal needs to watch the games more closely!
